Acme Metal Spinning, Inc., a US exporter of metal spinnings to Manitoba, Canada, was invited to The Governor’s International Trade Awards event this week as one of Minnesota’s international suppliers. The InterContinental Hotel at the Minneapolis International Airport hosted the event luncheon on December 14, 2022 from 11:30-1:30pm. Acme’s Project Manager Mary Kay Storhaug attended the event to see Governor Walz award this year’s winners in the categories of Manufactured Goods, Agricultural Commodities, Services, and International Investment.

“We sent Mary Kay to the event to investigate how Acme might expand our market and receive support from The Minnesota Trade Office,” said John Ingelin, Acme Metal Spinning’s General Manager.

The four companies who received this year’s awards were Bonanza Bean, Seer Medical, U.S.Trade Logistics and Yanmar Compact Equipment. Included in the event attendee’s package was consultation time with representatives from The Minnesota Trade Office who sponsored the event.
